Debra @ D’ Ignazio’s Towne House - This is a great location. We’ve had a number of brides rave about the mansion and the surrounding grounds.

I’ve visited myself several times and been impressed by the lush atmosphere. Definitely beautiful for photography…

Rob Zelinsky - Great shots, and to think it was freezing cold when these shots were taken. Kudos to you and your model!

admin - You are right … it was quite cold at night, especially with the wind (2/23). I think the temperature dropped to something like 27F with wind gusts up to 30mph (AccuWeather.com past weather | NOAA National Weather Forecast Office). You could see tears from the wind in Erika’s eyes at some point.

Carol + Chris | Pine Hill Golf Club, NJ

They couldn’t stop him … not that they wanted to or he wanted to be stopped …

Enjoyed very much my day with Carol and Chris, and their families. Thank you! As always, love interaction and the connection with people. Had an opportunity to capture some great relaxed formal images and a lot of candids later.

Look carefully at the photo with groomsmen holding the bride and you will see Philly on the horizon. It was a grey afternoon last Saturday, but you could still see the Philly skyline in the distance. The Philadelphia view – courtesy of the Pine Hill Golf Club.

Robyn & Josh | Center City Philadelphia | City Hall

Loved the connection between Robyn and Josh.  The pictures don’t show that the weather was freezing cold at the time… probably because the burning connection between Robyn and Josh is obvious.  They were oblivious to the camera, a photographer’s dream to work with.

Photographs where taken around the Philadelphia City Hall and the Masonic Temple on Broad Street.  The next day we experienced the second-highest snowfall in a single event!

Puppy News!! | Labradoodles | Portrait Photography

Dez is the contented, new, mommy to four tiny boys.  They are each exceptionally appealing fawn colored pups.

Little eyes, as yet unfocused, peek out, then roll and sway to the rhythm of soft, round bellies pushing into other swollen pots.  Claws grasp and grip siblings noses, ears or tails; all, in search of Dez. These sweet, soft, furry newborns are already learning to push up on their forepaws.  A marvelous milestone as they develop and mature at the speed of light.  Much, much too quickly – this infantile newborn stage is too brief.  (…said the casual observer.  Kudos to Rob’s unceasing attention!)

Their first photo session required a raised table – without the lift their petite bodies would be just bits of tawny fluff in the grass – bellies or not.  The puppies were photographed on the 15th day after their birth.

Mewing, snuffling exploration is quiet, then piercing, then interrupted by a unique miniature sneeze or robust yawn, followed next by a sudden return to twitchy puppy sleep.   So much to do and so little time in between naps!

All this charm mixes with an old milk smell while claws urge the holder to hug back; hold fast.  The experience makes one certain that angels come in many forms.

Dez loves her babies.  Sydney and Kiwi love the babies.  Every person who sees these pups loves them.  These new pups are well loved!!

West Chester Fire Department saves neighborhood homes – a photo essay

Sunday night, the sound of heavy equipment and emergency lights flooded the neighborhood.  Emergency vehicles raced to a home close to ours.  A fire had broken out in the laundry room dryer vent.  By the time I reached the area with my camera, the flames were under control.  Fortunately nobody was hurt and the fire was brought under control before it could spread to adjacent homes.

It was an experience the neighborhood will not soon forget.  Five separate fire companies from the West Chester Fire Department and other units responded to the emergency for which the residents of all the homes in this area expressed gratitude.    The list and links of all the fire companies that responded appears below the images.

It is always amazing that most fire companies are staffed by volunteers.  Companies pay for their equipment and expenses with local funding and fund raising.   Again, we are grateful for their immediate response.  Prior to the fire each firefighter was busy with their own family, friends, event, or maybe watching  the final episode of “Lost”.  Upon receiving the alarm, each suddenly left whatever they were doing to help someone they’d never met before.  It is remarkable.

Thank you!
